everybody作为主语时为单数。everybody：(某个群体中的)每个人;所有人;人们。

everybody作为主语时为单数

复合不定代词（everyone,everybody, no one, nobody, someone, somebody, something, everything, nothing, anything等等）作主语时，谓语动词用单数。如:

Everybody is down on me except you. 大家都讨厌我，惟独你不。

Is everything all right? 一切都好吗？
